Employee of the Year – Winners & Prizes!
It was an extremely hard decision choosing the winners of Employee of the year Awards as all nominees’ had merit in being selected for the top prizes. The Directors discussed and debated but did come to a final unanimous conclusion:
Gold Award – Anthony Jessop.
Anthony is Heathcote & Co’s employee of the year for his consistent efforts throughout the whole year supporting all departments whilst, in his position, working independently for much of the time. His attitude, approach and willingness to help and support the operation from a service providing role is never in doubt and is appreciated by the whole team, apparent for the number of times he was nominated for employee of the month.
Anthony has selected a trip to Barcelona as his prize, & a bottle of Champagne.
Silver Award – Sian Jolly.
Sian consistently delivers great service in the hotel operation, has great product knowledge and awareness of the business and is always flexible with her shifts, whether supervising a breakfast shift operating in the restaurant or working a late bar. She is always composed and calm in service and willing to support and help younger/less experienced team members.
Sian’s Prize – 2 tickets to CarFest North & a bottle of Prosecco.
Bronze Award – Chris Jones.
Bronze was awarded to Chris for his ability and willingness to be flexible and work in any aspect of the Heathcote and Co business. Throughout the year Chris has not only been a great support to Ben in his home department of public catering but he has also worked with the C&B team (covering the majority of the Panto dates last December amongst many other events) and more recently in the Hotel operation. Chris also spent July 2015 working with Paul, Claire and the team at the Manchester International Festival and went out to work, again with Paul, Claire and Michael, on a private dinner in Blackburn.
Chris’s Prize – 4 cinema tickets, £25 of Love2shop vouchers & a bottle of Prosecco.
Director’s Award – Paulina Biniasz.
Since Paulina joined the team the feedback from guests on the standard and consistency of breakfast has been one of the biggest improvements in our business. The FOH team have very few issues to deal with when Paulina is on shift and have the confidence that the product is always right and available. As a team we have recently been awarded #1 hotel in Bolton by Trip Adviser, if you visit the site I’m sure you will agree from the comments posted that this is partly due to our breakfast product, and so Paulina.
Paulina’s Prize – 4 cinema tickets, £25 of Love2shop vouchers & a bottle of Champagne.
Although congratulations goes out to all our Employee of the Year winners the Directors would also like to thank the whole team for their hard work, effects and endeavours throughout the year and we look forward to the work we will do together in the next 12 months………………..THANK YOU.
